Interactive whiteboard

For a while, standard whiteboards have been used commonly as a way people can share messages, present information, and engage in collaborative brainstorming and idea development. With the same cooperative goals in mind, interactive whiteboards have the ability to connect to the Internet and instantly digitize tasks and operations.

The interactive whiteboards are effective tools for improving learning, communication and collaboration.
While some students are auditory learners, absorbing information efficiently through the spoken word, others are visual learners. Interactive whiteboards give people the opportunity to absorb information in multiple formats. This helps increase retention and synthesis of information.Interactive whiteboard images can be saved and printed, so students do not have to take notes during the discussion. This allows them to participate in the learning or collaborative session at a more focused, engaged level.

By integrating an interactive whiteboard into your learning or office environment, you can encourage participants to collaborate in a shared work area. This allows students to become part of the process, rather than simply recipients of prepared information.

Why should we use technology in our ESL classroom

Hello guys,I think that it is important for us to remember the benefits of using technology in our classroom ,that is the main reason why I have chosen this topic: I hope you enjoy reading it! xxx Technology is one great way to motivate learner.  Now, teachers can incorporate tools into their lessons that allow materials to be accessed on smartphones, laptops and tablets. With that goal in mind, it is also important to consider that besides actually learning the English language, one of most important prerequisites to success in an English-speaking workplace or learning environment is the ability to navigate technology efficiently.  One of the greatest benefits of technology integration in ed...

# First post

Hey guys, this is my first post as a blogger and I'm really excited that we can share our ideas and experiences to help one another. As we all know technology is becoming a huge means of communication, entertainment and especially connection with the rest of the world,we can share ideas,we can share and receive information at the same time, and being able to use technology even in teaching is a great thing that can affect the way information is explained, received and perceived.  ##Quote of the day:  '' Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. ''

Cooperative learning

Hello everyone I hope you enjoy reading this :) On July 15, 1982, Don Bennett, a Seattle businessman, became the first amputee ever to climb Mount Rainier (reported in Kouzes and Posner 1987). He climbed 14,410 feet on one leg and two crutches. It took him five days. When asked to state the most important lesson he learned from doing the climb, Bennett said without hesitation, “You can't do it alone.” The lesson learned by Bennett is one that we should all take to heart. If classrooms and schools are to become places where people achieve worthy goals, they must become places where students, teachers, adminstrators, and other staff cooperate in pursuit of those goals. Such cooperation must be consciously implemented until it becomes a natural way of acting and interacting. And it must take place at all levels of schooling from the classroom to the school to the district. Cooperation in the Classroom In every classroom, no matter what the subject area, teachers can str...
